Galena Moose Hunt 2010

Both cubs on floats, 10 solid days of unbelievably nice weather (with frosts at night), and some interior Alaska luck = one small 34" moose for the freezer (delivered by mama and Coal) and one 60" for the wall + meat for friends (via papa Paul). Brad and Sandy got one a few days later while we watched the kids - and everyone was happy. With weather good enough to go direct Galena-Anchorage over the mountains - we headed up, direct through Rainy Pass full of town food and back the same way with planes full of meat. Great trip.
