2009 Home & Garden

Barb would have been proud! My garden had identifiable rows this year (at least at the onset)!
Carrots, leaks, parsley, kale, chard, lettuce, cucumbers (which didn't work outside of the greenhouse), and peas on the fence. Tomatoes did well in the greenhouse (still eating them), potatoes in silt-fence bags (outside the garden) flopped, and squash in totes on the deck did moderately well. All in all, a pretty good year for home-grown food, especially given the amount of days I was actually home to tend to it! Turned all the parsley into pesto...divine!
