Gold Nugget Triathlon

Shiway & I did the Gold Nugget Triathlon on 17 May...what a hoot! I was sucking wind on the swim (a little training might have been a good idea!...and not having a wicked head-cold would have been better), kicked @ss on the bike, and finished strong in the run with Shiway by my side. Our quick-sewed costumes worked great and were super sparkly in the sun (what glorious weather for glitter!)...too bad for the people we were trailing in the run...with bells on our shoes we we sounded like Santa's sleigh coming from behind!
