Back at home: Speed-racer Coal has finally discovered books! As physical growth is outpaced by mental awareness, he seems so much more like a little boy, than a baby. His favorite book: 'La arana chicitit'a ('The Itsy-Bitsy Spider'...in Spanish)!

Favorite toy: the giagantic cast-iron cooking pan! He simply cannot resist getting inside it!
Still helping papa with the new airplane...During the week: Coal continues to stay with Marcela (and son Erik) from 10 to 3 most workdays. Fun to watch the boys change together; playing (and fighting) as pseudo-siblings. Coal couldn't be more comfortable and Marcela provides mom-love and care bar-none (I'll often find Coal asleep in her arms when I come to pick him up). Plus, Coal gets half his day in Spanish!
