Coal's 1st Christmas!

Twas the night before Christmas and all through the house...

YEE HAW!!!....trains a'chuggin...
presents to be opened...
(or at least, wrapping paper chewed)
sleigh bells a' jingling...

Santa a'coming...

...and Christmas Day arriving!

Although the wrapping paper still won out over the gifts inside,
Coal wanted to thank...
Carolyn & George for the moose & magazine subscription, Aunt Susie for the books, etc., Brock for a (way-too-generous) savings bond, Grandpa Roger for the Christmas $$, Grandpa Ron for the toys, and Ron & Jan down the street a new Red Ryder BB gun !

Coal texted all his buddies on his new cell phone...

...ran some stats on his inventory of presents...then got ready to eat some homemade salsa from California!

After a mini-pancake and moose-sausage Christmas breakfast by Papa...

...neighbors Ron and Jan came by with a new Red Ryder BB gun for Coal!
(Thanks guys!)Then we spend the rest of the day talking with family on the phone and getting a little outdoor time (in the few hours of daylight)...
followed by a delicious venison dinner with Dirk & Margaret.
Coal pooped out a little after 8pm....babbling happily to himself about what a great Christmas it was!
