Coal now weighs 13 lbs 5 oz and is 24 inches long!
He can hold is head up all the time and can focus long distances. He's very alert and really enjoys playing with shiny musical instruments hanging from above and talking up a storm with dad. He seems game for anything (as long as he gets to nurse and nap afterward)!

Biker Coal. We've been running all our errands in town using the bike trailer (or as I like to call it "The Sedator"). It works great! And I'm loving my new birthday-present-to-myself cyclocross bike! Getting used to hauling Coal behind me in anticipation for the upcoming Bike for Women.

Smiley Coal. This is one happy kid (most of the time). It's so fun watching him figure out how to use those hands.
Swimming in Alaska Coal. We've been going to Riverwalk (an indoor water track) at H2Oasis and swimming side by side in the current.
