Happy 2 months old Coal!

"Little man" is officially out of the newborn stage and on to being a baby!

Immunized Coal. Coal had his first shots today (6 March 2009) with Dr. Elliott and passed all his 2-month milestones. He can lift and hold his head up (for a while), smile (when smiled at and spontaneously on his own), coo and gaga, focus (better) and follow objects, and best of all...sleep for 4+ hours during the night, then go right back down after a short nursing! As of today, he weighed 11 lbs 13 oz and was 23 inches long (a gain of 3 lbs 12 oz, and 1 inch since birth).

Hogging the blanket Coal. After shots, we did some tummy time and hung out with auntie Otter (who's been having some blanket envy lately).

Flirting with the ladies Coal. (1 March) Brook & Shiway came for a visit and some baby oogling. Here's Coal giving eyes (that focus) to all the ladies in the house.

Office Coal. Back to work full time as of 18 February. Paul has Coal in the mornings while I'm at work 6am-noon, then Coal comes in to keep me company at the office until I get the rest of my work done. So far so good!...as long as he sleeps at night.

Jet-plane Coal. (21 February) Up to Fairbanks for Shelly's memorial.

Retro Coal. Hanging with giraffi in my old cradle from Aunt Donna and Uncle Greg

Disco Coal. All the ladies in the house put chya hands up!
